The Key to Getting Results

Everyone has the power to design the life they want. So why do people achieve the results they want and others don’t? Why are some people happy and successful while others are constantly struggling?

Whether you realize it or not, every choice and decision you make is either taking you closer to achieving the results you want, or moving you further away. There really is a proven formula available to anyone who is serious about achieving results - and it just takes three simple steps:

  1. Be clear and confident about where you are and where you want to go.

  2. Create an action plan to get you there

  3. Have an unwavering belief that what you want is attainable.

We are usually able to figure out what we want. We also do a pretty good job of creating an initial action plan. We start out motivated and determined to make our desired outcome a reality. However, when it gets tough or scary and we’re not sure what to do, those fears often get the best of us and we start to doubt and not believe that what we want is attainable.

Belief can be hard because as humans we have to be ok with not knowing the “how” or the details that will make what we want a reality. The unanswered questions that pop up in our heads fuel the fire of doubt.

How will it work out? Who will help me? What if this happens? What if this doesn’t happen? We create all kinds of scenarios and stories in our heads that prevent us from making the decision to continue to go for it.

Belief is the foundation - you are the builder. Continual focus and actions even in uncertain times will strengthen your belief. Just like a muscle, belief gets stronger every time you use it. When challenges or doubts come up you have a choice. You can exercise that muscle and make it stronger by dismissing the doubts, or you can give into your fears and wonder why you never attained the results you wanted.

Keep your focus and attention on what you do want rather than on your fears of what you don’t want. If you are continually focused on needing money, all you are going to do is attract more situations into your life of needing money. Instead, focus on having what you want. Picture it in your head. Feel the feelings of what it would feel like if you already have it. If you have gratitude and appreciation for what you currently have, you will draw more things into your life to be grateful for!
